so we have two regular customers at the shop, let's call them R and J.theese guys doesn't know each other, they come in with their laptops sit at seperate tables and drink their coffes.last week they were the last two cosumers in the shop so I desiced that they were gonna have a race. so I told them, last guy out has to buy the other obe coffee, and you can't imagen how quick both of them stood up and started to pack down their stuff, all three of us started to joke about it make coments about the progress they were making. Aventualy R got out the door quickly folowed by J. They chatted a bit and went seperate ways.I didn't think more about this until today when they were both in the shop again, I reminded them about the race and J actually offered R the price, a coffee. What started out as a joke between strangers actually ended up with a guy buying his new friend a coffee. I thought this was just something J was doing cause I was at the till but after being down stairs and coming up again J and R was chatting and laughing with each other before J left the shop first to go home to his wife and kid.I think this is amazing how to strangers are now friends because of one funny race. So don't be afraid to make a joke to a stranger, it could be the start of a friendship :)
